20 stallions have been released into The New Forest until 18th June to help preserve the bloodlines of the New Forest Pony. Please be sure to keep your distance as the horses’ behaviour can be erratic and more unpredictable than usual. The ponies are owned by commoners who live in properties with ancient rights attached, dating back to the 11th century.
