Paultons Park (home of Peppa Pig World) and the Beaulieu National Motor Museum are just a short drive away. Explore the nearby trails on foot or by bike through ancient woodlands, or visit Lyndhurst, the heart of the New Forest. Ashurst is the perfect spot for a family glamping adventure in the New Forest.

Location

Directions to Ashurst Campsite
If you’re arriving by public transport, Ashurst station is just a 5-minute walk from the campsite, with regular services from Southampton to Bournemouth. The Bluestar number 6 bus route also serves the area, with a stop less than 5 minutes from the campsite, connecting Southampton and Lymington.
Ashurst Campsite is located 2.5 miles northeast of Lyndhurst, on the A35. From the M27, exit at junction 3 onto the M271, signposted for Southampton & The Docks. At Redbridge Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A35 heading toward Totton and Lyndhurst. Continue over two roundabouts, heading toward Lyndhurst. Pass through Ashurst Village, with the train station on your left. After crossing the railway bridge, Ashurst Campsite is signposted on the left, just after the New Forest Pub.

Are the tents heated?
Unfortunately, our bell tents are not heated. We recommend bringing blanked for the cooler evenings
Can I park next to my bell tent?
Yes, you can park one vehicle next to your bell tent. Any additional vehicles will need to be parked at reception and will incur a £5 per night charge
Is bedding included?
No, you will need to bring your own bedding and pillows.
Do the tents have electricity?
No, however you can recharge battery packs at reception
Is there a toilet or shower nearby?
Yes, there are shared toilet and shower facilities on the campsite
Can I bring a dog
Dogs are only welcome in Long Meadow’s glamping bell tents. They are not allowed in the pods
