Something spooky is coming to Holmsley this Halloween… On Saturday 31 October, Holmsley Campsite will be getting a Halloween makeover for The Haunting at Holmsley, with fancy dress, decorated pitches, live music and a full day of Halloween fun in the heart of the New Forest.
And if you want to join in without spending the night under canvas, we’ve got something new for this year too!
Join us for the day
For The Haunting at Holmsley, we’re offering day pitches for £28.50, suitable for up to six guests.
You’ll have your own standard grass pitch for the day, where you can park up, put up a gazebo or tent, decorate your space and make yourself at home before the Halloween celebrations get underway. Then, once the evening is over, you can pack up and head home to your own bed.
It’s perfect if you want to experience Halloween at Holmsley but aren’t quite ready to spend the night.
What’s happening at The Haunting at Holmsley?
The celebrations will be taking place throughout Saturday 31 October, with plenty of opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit. Fancy dress is encouraged, so dig out your best costume and don’t be afraid to go all out! You can also decorate your pitch for the occasion, whether you’re thinking spiders and cobwebs or something a little more terrifying. Later in the evening, there’ll be live music from 7pm until 9.30pm, before the campsite gates close at 10pm.
Guests with a day pitch can also bring a BBQ for cooking, subject to our usual campsite rules and any restrictions in place at the time.

Halloween falls right at the end of October half-term this year, making The Haunting at Holmsley a great addition to a family day out in the New Forest.
