Something spooky is coming to Holmsley this Halloween… From Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st of November, Holmsley Campsite will be getting a Halloween makeover for The Haunting at Holmsley, with fancy dress, decorated pitches, live music and a full day of Halloween fun in the heart of the New Forest.
And if you want to join in without spending the night under canvas, we’ve got something new for this year too!
Join us for the day
For The Haunting at Holmsley, we’re offering day pitches for £28.50, suitable for up to six guests.
You’ll have your own standard grass pitch for the day, where you can park up, put up a gazebo or tent, decorate your space and make yourself at home before the Halloween celebrations get underway. Then, once the evening is over, you can pack up and head home to your own bed.
It’s perfect if you want to experience Halloween at Holmsley but aren’t quite ready to spend the night.

Fancy dress is encouraged all weekend, so dig out your best costume and don’t be afraid to go all out! You can also decorate your pitch for the occasion, whether you’re thinking spiders and cobwebs or something a little more terrifying.
Guests with a day pitch can also bring a BBQ for cooking, subject to our usual campsite rules and any restrictions in place at the time.

Fancy making a proper Halloween break of it? Holmsley is staying open until Monday 2 November this year, giving you even more time to enjoy an autumn camping break in the New Forest. With toilets and showers, electric hook-up, an on-site shop and a play area, Holmsley is a great base for families wanting to explore the Forest over October half-term.
Stay for the whole weekend and you’ll catch the adults’ silent disco on Friday night, the full day of Halloween fun on Saturday, and the best decorated pitch announcement on Sunday morning, before squeezing one final autumn adventure into the camping season ahead of Holmsley closing for the year.
