About us
Welcome to Camping New Forest – part of The New Forest Agricultural Show Society.
We’re delighted to have been chosen to run Forestry England’s ten New Forest campsites – Aldridge Hill, Ashurst, Denny Wood, Hollands Wood, Holmsley, Longbeech, Matley Wood, Ocknell, Roundhill and Setthorns.
We can’t wait to welcome you for New Forest adventures!
We are also proud to operate Fineshade Wood Campsite in Northamptonshire under the Forestry England branding, extending our commitment to providing high-quality camping experiences beyond the New Forest.

Protecting the New Forest
One Booking at a Time
The New Forest is a truly special place, but caring for its unique landscape comes at a significant cost – millions of pounds each year. It’s up to all of us to help preserve this extraordinary environment and support the people and organisations who care for it.
To play our part, Camping New Forest has introduced a £1 donation per booking. This small contribution helps offset the impact of tourism on the forest and supports essential work in conservation, education, and community engagement.
Together, we can help ensure the New Forest continues to thrive, the ponies remain free to roam, and this treasured landscape is safeguarded for generations to come.
The New Forest
Agricultural Show Society
For over 100 years The New Forest Agricultural Show Society has been promoting and encouraging the development and improvement of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, equestrianism and rural crafts through The New Forest Show. They have also run the popular campsite, Longmeadow, which has welcomed many visitors to spend quality time in The New Forest over the past 16 years.
Forestry England Camping
Fineshade Wood Campsite
We are proud to operate Fineshade Wood Campsite in Northamptonshire under the Forestry England branding.
Set on the edge of beautiful Fineshade Wood in north Northamptonshire, this quiet, back-to-nature escape was once part of the royal hunting forest of Rockingham Forest. Located between Stamford and Corby, it’s a hidden gem for nature-lovers, walkers and cyclists, with play areas, a family activity trail, sensory garden, and visitor centre and café all right on the doorstep.
