The Camping New Forest team had an incredible few days at this year’s New Forest & Hampshire County Show, and we loved every minute of it! From start to finish, our stand was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and some good old Camping New Forest hospitality.
Across all three days, it was fantastic to meet so many of you – whether you stopped by for a chat, kicked back in our exclusive seating and bar area for seasonal pitch holders, or joined in with one of our fun and interactive activities. The atmosphere was buzzing, and we were thrilled to be part of such a great event celebrating the best of our local area.
Crowd Favourites: Rucksack challenge and Bean Bag Knowledge Throw
One of the standout highlights was our ‘Guess the Weight of the Rucksack’ competition. It sparked plenty of curiosity, conversation, and some impressively close guesses! It was great to see so many show-goers getting involved and having fun with it.
We also ran a bean bag throwing challenge, which proved a big hit with younger visitors. It was all about learning what goes in which bin – a simple but effective (and very entertaining) way to encourage more sustainable camping habits. Helping the next generation of campers understand the importance of protecting our beautiful surroundings is something we’re committed to.
Award-Winning Effort
As if the event wasn’t exciting enough, we were delighted to be awarded 3rd place in the Tradestand Awards! This recognition is a testament to the passion and hard work of both our office and site teams, who worked tirelessly to bring the stand to life over the three days. A huge thank you to everyone involved – your dedication and positivity truly made it all possible.
