In a brand-new partnership with Camping New Forest, we’re inviting you to experience the landscape as you’ve never seen it before – through the eyes of storyteller Hugh Bernard, the man behind Haunted New Forest. This after-dark ghost walk is a journey into the Forest’s past, blending real history, local folklore and tales that will stay with you long after the walk ends.
An Evening of Spooky Storytelling
As the night draws in and the Forest begins to quieten, Hugh will lead you on a one-hour walking tour through some of the New Forest’s eeriest tales. Expect stories of smugglers, witches, highwaymen and the restless spirits said to still roam the ancient woods.
With a deep knowledge of local history and a gift for storytelling, Hugh brings these characters and legends to life in a way that’s gripping, atmospheric, and rooted in real events. It’s not just entertainment – it’s a fascinating dive into the hidden past of one of the UK’s most beautiful natural landscapes.
