Longbeech Campsite

Adults only camping

Longbeech Campsite, New Forest
Fritham Hampshire SO43 7HH

Camping in tranquil wilderness

Longbeech is our Adults Only campsite.

If you are looking for a place to take children with similar facilities and feel, we recommend Aldridge Hill or Denny Wood, or want a similar location then Ocknell is less than a mile down the road.

Longbeech is a stunningly natural campsite. With no toilet or shower facilities, the emphasis is on nothing but nature. Beautiful open clearings, ancient beechwoods, abundant ferns and isolated spots where silence reigns and the famous New Forest ponies roam freely – this campsite is a camper’s dream.
Sit back, take a breath and enjoy all that nature has to offer at this naturally stunning site hugged by ancient beechwood.

With deer and New Forest ponies roaming through the campsite’s open clearings and nearby access to the forest’s many waymarked routes it really is a camper’s paradise.

Please note:
This is a limited facility campsite with no showers or toilets, so it’s essential to bring your own chemical toilet.

When visiting the New Forest, please follow the New Forest Code to help us care and look after this unique place for everyone to enjoy. Find out how here.

If you plan to use your own petrol generator during your stay, please take a moment to read our updated policy on their use here

Any barbecues used on our sites should be specifically designed and used only for the purpose of cooking food (i.e. not firepits). They should be robust, secure and able to be raised off of the forest floor, there should be no damage or marks left on the ground where they have been used. In support of the New Forest Action Plan, we are asking campers not to bring disposable barbecues for their stay. We are also reminding campers that outside of our sites, no barbecues of any kind are now allowed anywhere in the New Forest.

Please do not feed, pet or approach the animals in and around the campsite; they may look friendly but are unpredictable and can bite and kick. Please keep all food sealed and out of reach of the ponies.ble and can bite and kick. Please keep all food sealed and out of reach of the ponies.
