For a truly enchanting woodland walk this December, follow the Blackwater Tall Trees Trail. This peaceful circular route winds through majestic redwoods, some of the tallest in the UK.

Keyhaven Marshes Loop

If a sea breeze appeals, drive to Keyhaven Marshes for a walk with expansive views across the Solent. In December, many birds visit the marshes, the water reflections and winter light make for striking scenery, and the nearby Gun Inn is a rewarding stop for after your walk.
